1. Tour organiser :
The guided bike tour in Lisbon is organised by
 [Taïbat Vanroth], photographer registered in Lisbon, Portugal.

2. Participants’ responsibilities :
2.1 Eligibility: Participants must be at least 18 years of age or accompanied by a responsible adult to take part in the tour.
2.2 Fitness and ability: Participants must ensure that they have the fitness and ability required to take part in a cycle tour. It is recommended that participants have previous experience and basic knowledge of cycling.

2.3 Safety equipment: Participants are required to wear appropriate safety equipment, including a helmet, throughout the tour. Refusal to wear a helmet is the sole responsibility of the participant.

2.4 Driving: Participants must follow the guide’s instructions, respect the highway code and the rights and safety of others. Any behaviour that endangers the safety of others or disrupts the tour may result in immediate termination of participation without refund.

3. Booking and payment :
3.1 Booking: To secure a place on the guided bike tour, participants must make a booking in advance via the booking channels designated by the tour organiser.

3.2 Payment: Payment for the tour may be made on site on the day of the tour, subject to the payment methods accepted by the tour organiser.
3.3 Confirmation: A booking confirmation will be provided once payment has been successfully processed.

4. Cancellation and refund :
4.1 Cancellation by the participant :
4.1.1 Eligibility for refund: Participants may cancel their booking up to [3] days prior to the scheduled tour date to receive a full or partial refund. The refund policy will be clearly communicated during the booking process.

4.1.2 Notice of cancellation: Cancellations must be made in writing and sent to the tour operator by e-mail or using the cancellation form provided on the tour operator’s website.

4.2 Cancellation by the tour operator: The tour operator reserves the right to cancel the trip due to unforeseen circumstances, such as adverse weather conditions or safety problems. In this case, participants will be informed as soon as possible and offered an alternative travel date.

5. Insurance :
Participants are responsible for their own insurance cover. The trip organiser is not responsible for any loss, damage, injury or theft that may occur during the trip.

 

6. Limitation of liability :
6.1 Acceptance of risks: participants acknowledge and accept the risks inherent in cycling activities and release the tour organiser from any liability for accidents, injuries or damage sustained during the tour.
6.2 Indemnification: Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the trip organiser, its subsidiaries, employees and guides in the event of any claim, action or liability arising from their participation in the trip.

7. Changes or modifications to the tour :
The tour operator reserves the right to make changes or modifications to the itinerary, route or duration of the tour without prior notice, provided that such changes do not significantly affect the overall quality or content of the tour.

8. Data confidentiality :
The tour operator will collect and process participants’ personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws. The information provided will only be used for purposes related to the trip and will not be communicated to third parties without the participants’ consent.

9. Applicable law and jurisdiction:
These general conditions are governed by Portuguese law. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Lisbon bike tour shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lisbon, Portugal.

By participating in the Lisbon bike tour, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions in their entirety.
